My name is Ingrid Kristine Ehmke Wangen. What do you think of I tell a little about myself first? Well, there is so much that I'd like to say, but
I'll keep it short. I'm 15 years old, I love my friends, and it seems that I
learn new things about them every day that goes by. My favorite color is pink,
and I love animals (especially dogs). I live in a little town called Langesund,
which is near the coach in Norway. I'm going to travel to USA for approximately
one month. There I will be able to discover many new things like old history,
new food and well...things that I can learn something about, instead of looking
around thinking: "Oh, I've been true this shit before..." My trip is
going to be spectacular, exciting and fun. I'll write down every little detail
on my blog right her. Every little thing that can describe my little journey
really well. The people back home in Norway will see and read all I write down,
so it will be as if they’re here with me all the time.

| Orlando |
I’m going to travel to two different places in the USA. Two places with
two different climates. (That is what I’m thinking about at least…) First, I’m
going to the state Florida, to the city Orlando, to experience the hot and
moist weather there. I’ve heard that it is raining in the middle of the day
every day! (In south Florida) How awesome isn’t that?! It is tropical there so I
thought: “Hey, why don’t you have a trip to Florida? Think of all the awesome
things you can explore there! Well, how awesome isn’t that going to be?” This
is the first time I’m going to the USA anyway, so why doesn’t make something
special about it? That leads me into the second city I want to travel to: New
Mexico! OMG! I can feel the nerves coming up already! Another climate to adjust
too. This is a bit more of a hot climate if you ask me. I really hope this is
going to be funJ.
The first flight go direct to Florida-Fort Lauderdale Miami, 16:10 from
Sandefjord, Torp in Norway. Then I’ll have good time to pack all of my stuff,
my camera too. The flight takes 9 hours and 50 minutes, but even the flight is
just as special as the place you are travelling too. (That’s what everybody
else are sayingJ) Then I will be in Florida at 20:00, Florida’s time. I’m
really looking forward to this! An American airport! I bet you just thought
something like “OMG, why is she so happy about an American airport?” Well, let
me answer this riley quick. “Because an American airport is different from a
Norwegian airport”. That sounds really well.
When I’m flying home again, from Florida-Orlando, the clock is 23:30. Boooy,
I’m going to be sooo tired after all. I think that I might sleep while I’m
inside the airplane…oh well…When I am back, the clock is somewhere around 13:25
in the middle of the day in Norway. I think that the “time travelling” feeling
really has gotten in to me thenJ.
The price for trip/return is 1599 NOK, and 1417 NOK. I’ll be leaving dear Norway with kisses and lots of goodbyes September 30th. The journey back home again is set to October 28th.

When I’m in Florida, I need somewhere to keep my stuff and sleep. I’ve picked up this amazing place in Orlando where they have air condition, satellite TV, own bathroom, a family room, a training center and much more! In addition, the airport is only like 10 minutes away if you drive a car, so this is a perfect place to start with. As long as I have a bed, a good breakfast and a roof to sleep under, I’ll be happy.
It is also big opportunities to go on sightseeing when I want to. Only 20 minutes away, there is a SeaWorld! How exciting! To me, this sounds really cool, and good for an okay price. I’m going to stay in Orlando for twelve days, and the price is only 5104 NOK. This is a good price for someone like me (with okay salary). I’ll be having this room from October 1th to October 12th. This gives me a lot of time to discover many new things in Florida before I travel to New Mexico for the rest of the month, which I will get closer into laterJ.
There you have it, the start of my journey in the USA. This will be so
huge and fantastic! I can’t wait, not even one more second! You will hear more
from me when I write next time, until then: See you later!
Lots of hugs from Ingrid Kristine ♥ J
